Our Mission
We are firm believers that learning new languages and travelling are some of the strongest life skills to promote children & teenagers' intellectual development and social progress.
We strive to make our language & cultural tours accessible to any students from all over the world, and hopefully contribute to a fairer global education system.
Our Story
AZ Formation was born from the realization that travelling from a young age and being exposed to new cultures, help children build empathy toward another and drastically develop their cognitive and social skills while growing up. Yet only 37% of European teenagers had the opportunity to travel outside their country (Eurobarometer Survey 2020). Passionate about French heritage & travels, this is what motivated our founders to welcome underprivileged children and teenagers from all over the world in our centers. AZ Formation is a non-profit association and was founded in 1998, with the objective to contribute to a fairer global education system.
Our association works in the interest of children and adolescents and allows thus offering support for all.
For those students who are not eligible for scholarships, our association allocates a special fund every year to completely cover their entire experience.

Our commitments for 2024
Inclusion is a strong theme supported by AZ Formation for years. We are committed to working alongside teachers to help them organize their educational school trip whatever the nature of the difficulty. We share the idea that a trip outside the walls is a unique and powerful experience which can prove to be an exceptional moment of living together and of inclusion whatever the differences.
Concretely: help in finding rooms and transport accessible for wheelchairs, help in the design of programs adapted to students with mental or physical disabilities, scholarships students financial support, engagement with providers to keep stays as accessible as possible, opening our stays to all religions.
Education: we are committed to strengthening the educational virtues of our stays with the provision of new edutainment elements free of charge to all students. Contact us for examples of educational games that you can leverage during bus, flight or train times with your school !
